The Clinical Assistant plays a dual role for front and back office clinical functions, spending about 50% of their time in each role.  They perform a variety of duties that are clerical in nature, as well as assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of licensed medical and/or licensed nuring team members.  

LSCC seeks to hire a Clinical Navigator who is experienced working with the underserved population, who may have significant barriers to care. The Clinical Navigator will deliver behavioral assessments and interventions for patient’s biopsychosocial needs in the context of medical, emotional and/or behavioral problems, focusing on unhealthy alcohol use. The Clinical Navigator will provide, facilitate, and track successful referral to resources. This position will be required to travel to other LSCC facilities as needed. The Clinical Navigator will collaborate with employees at all levels within the organization and must be able to maintain professional working relationships and provide excellent customer service.

The Family Connects Home Visit Nurse conducts home visits with families with newborns in Bastrop County. This nursing role, at LSCC Bastrop, will participate in a community-based program called Family Connects that supports new parents in caring for their newborn(s), offers physical assessments of the mother and the baby, addresses questions about caring for the newborn(s), identifies parents' needs, and helps to identify community services or resources to meet those needs.
